Meet Luke

Location: My flat

Time of day: Irrelevant.

Other info: This is not of study of wood, but a study of light. Think about this scenario: you have a room that is not very well lit and you want to take photographs with a flash. You can make everything look black in the picture and fire the flash at will. This is what I have done. I underexposed intentionally and used the flash to illuminate my subject as I wanted. What it turned out…see below. I am planning to do this in a portrait session I have been thinking about for quite some time and it will be done in a week or so. This time, with a human being.

Why Luke? Because I have a feeling that our relationship will be a long one… And it is the name of one of my favorite characters on the TV screen. And at least he can’t answer back when I argue with him.
