Vara asta [This summer]

We had lots to set up. I’ve seen new locations. I’ve worked with new people. I have made another friend. We hurried more than we did during the past summers. Either I was most of the time in the middle of weddings which required lots of effort up to the last minute, or weddings are not what they used to be. More, bigger, more accessories. But sometimes, the conclusion was “less was maybe better”. For the clients. For us…it’s good anyway. As long as there will be weddings, we’ll always have patience, perseverance, work and inspiration! Our boss changed her ringtone and it seems that whenever we hear that “Don’t be angry!” it’s like we find motivation for ourselves, the young ones, who surround her, and who breathe in and ignore the roses’ thorns, the occasional heat or the bothering wind which makes our table cloths fly away. Next year, we’ll be joined by another member, rather small, but who will definitely will make herself noticed somehow. Honey will have a new playmate and won’t have time to pose for the two cameras (rather, one camera, seeing that I manage not to have my camera around when she’s around). But until next year, there is still a long way to go. In the meantime, on the 29th of September, I’m shifting focus from wedding decorations to “the real deal” like the English say. Enjoy some photos!
